ISES, the International Special Events Society, strives to educate, advance and promote the special events industry and its network of professionals along with related industries. ISES Nashville is a wonderful community of creative and hard-working people, and they meet monthly to hang out, share food and drinks, and hear a keynote session from an excellent member of the event community.
The August event was hosted by a stunning new venue here in Nashville, The Cordelle, located in the historic Rutledge Hill area. Chef Penelope provided refreshments, including a delightful crêpe station among all their other goodies. Robbie Goldsmith provided the evening’s keynote, entitled “Playing the game is one thing. Winning is another.” Robbie is the Director of Community Engagement at the Nashville Entrepreneurial Center and founder of One4 Ventures, LLC. He shared about some of the businesses he helped incubate at the E.C., and also provided a lot of insight into growing a unique business based on his own experiences. The certainly connected with well with everyone in attendance.
It was a terrific evening with excellent people at a beautiful new venue here in town!
